Priscilla Mae Monnahan, 84, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Thursday, Feb.
3, 2022, surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories, with visitation one hour prior. Interment to follow at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Garden of Last Supper.
Priscilla was born on Dec. 30, 1937, in West Union, Iowa, to Dale and Gladys (Blockhus) Monnahan. She retired from Rockwell-Collins after 30 years of service. Percy loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Sharon Monnahan; nieces, Emily (Jeff) Hepker and Kari (Mike) Oster; great-nieces and great-nephews, Derek, Courtney, Carly, Cole, Brad and Corinne; and several great-great-nieces and -nephews that she loved like grandchildren.
Percy was preceded in death by her beloved partner Thelma (Jean) Almond; parents; and brothers. Dale and Patrick Monnahan.
She was a true fighter, battling the daily tasks of life with rheumatoid arthritis.
The family would like to extend a thank you to the staff of West Ridge Care Center and Dr. Michael Brooks.
