Priscilla Blanche Cummins 80, of Marion, passed away on Oct. 2, 2023. Visitation: 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 6, 2023, at Creekside Bible Church in Marion. Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 6, 2023, at Creekside Bible Church in Marion. Interment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Priscilla was born on June 21, 1943, in Ottumwa, Iowa, the daughter of Harry and Marie (Sedore) Pearson. After graduating high school, she took some nurse’s training. On Nov. 17, 1961, she was united in marriage to Harry H Cummins at Fairview Baptist Church in Fairview, Iowa. Priscilla had worked at Bio-Life. She was proud to have been a foster parent to over 120 infants. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren and enjoyed attending her church.
Survivors include her husband Harry of Marion, children Rodney Cummins, Bruce (Teresa) Cummins, and Ellen Cummins, four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and siblings George (Rose) Pearson, Jerry (Bonnie) Pearson, Roger (Mary Lou) Pearson, Phyllis (Gary) Husman, Phil Pearson, and Dennis Pearson. Priscilla is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents, daughter Janie Blanche Cummins, son Ted H. Cummins, brother Roy Pearson, and sister Wilda Cummins.
