Prince Gipson, 42, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Thursday, Sept. 8, 2016. Memorial services: 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Cedar Rapids, conducted by Damian Epps. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Prince was born April 23, 1974, in Lexington, Miss., son of Prince and Rosie Gipson. He was baptized at Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church in Lexington and graduated from J.J. McClain High School, also in Lexington. He worked for CSG/Clear Results.
Survivors include his parents, Prince and Rosie Gipson of Lexington, Miss.; children, Tevin Mull, Tamara Mull, Makayla and Makye Shireman, Desirae Pruisamann and Danielle Pruisamann; significant other, April Shireman; brothers, Michael (Susie) Gipson, Kelvin (Latonya) Gipson of Lexington, John Eubanks of California and Jeffery Eubanks of Sallis, Miss.; grandfather, Ezell Eubanks of Sallis; aunts, Mashelle (Lester) Powell of West, Miss., and Dorothy Eubanks and Dora Eubanks of Sallis; one uncle, Clyde Eubanks of Sallis; and special friends, Precious and Della Mull, Kevin Armstrong, Charles Stevens, John Richmond and George Steven Jr.
He was preceded in death by his one sister, Sandra Gipson Montgomery; and grandparents, Nell Eubanks, Ethel Gipson and Jessie Gipson.
A memorial fund has been established.
