Primrose, Donna Mae
Donna Mae Primrose, 92, McAllen, Texas, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, April 16, 2011. Services: 10 a.m. Thursday, April 21, St. Michael's Catholic Church, Norway, with the Rev. Brian Dellaert officiating. Burial: St. Michael's Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. today at the church parish center.
Donna was born August 14, 1918, to Glenn Barker and Grace Snyder Barker. On Oct. 13, 1975, she married Melvin Primrose.
Donna is survived by her children, Jacala (Michael) Connell of Mission, Texas, and John (Janet) Fink of Walsenburg, Colo.; stepchildren, Sandra Morris, Marcia Dinneen, Ron (Marlene) Primrose and Nancie Petty; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Francis (David) Uthoff, Mary (Dennis) Burrier and Carrol (Ted) Stark.
Preceding her in death were her husband; parents; stepfather, Frank Brecht; and sister, Jean.
Donna was an avid cross-stitcher, seamstress and had many craft projects.
Arrangements are with Brosh Funeral Service, Norway.
