Pribbenow, Gertrude 'Trudy' Dickman
Gertrude “Trudy” Dickman Pribbenow, 102, formerly of Rockford, died Sept. 26, 2012, at Virginia Gay Annex in Vinton. Services: 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1, at Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City, with visitation one hour before services. Burial: Lynnwood Cemetery, Clarksville.
Survivors include her children, Darlene Suchomel of Urbana, Darlys Dickman of Cedar Rapids and Nancy Scott of Las Vegas, Nev.; four grandchildren, Crystal, Michael, John and Amy; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Dickman; and all her brothers and sisters.
Trudy was born and grew up in the Clarksville area. She taught school in Readlyn and Jesup before retirement.
She loved music and could play the piano and organ “by ear.”
