Pospichal, Mary Lou
Mary Lou Pospichal, 82, died Saturday, April 2, 2011, at her home in Riceville, Iowa. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. today at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Riceville, with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Riceville. Conway Funeral Home, Riceville, handled the arrangements.
Mary Louise Pospichal was born Sept. 8, 1928, near Alta Vista, Iowa, the daughter of Peter and Susan (Lentz) Hentges. On Feb. 10, 1947, Mary Lou was united in marriage to Francis Gerald Pospichal at St. Bernard's Church in Alta Vista.
She is survived by four daughters, Linda Wilkinson of Cedar Rapids, Laurie Jensen of Calmar, Mary (Linus) Luzum of Calmar, and Deb (Mike) Mayer of Lakeville, Minn.; two sons, Leo (Susan) of Delano, Minn., and Joe of Riceville; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and Maxine Neuhauser of Rancho Santos Marguerita, Calif.
Preceding Mary Lou in death were her husband, Gerald in 2007; a son, Thomas in 1977; a daughter, Cindy in 2007; and five brothers, Clifford, Elroy, Paul, Robert and Reynold Hentges.
