Popham, Donald Dean
NORTH ENGLISH - Donald Dean Popham, 63, of North English, died suddenly at the Marengo Memorial Hospital in Marengo on Thursday, Sept. 23, 2010. A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, at Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North English. Pastor Michelle Williamson will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial of his ashes, with military rites, will be in Champion Hill Cemetery near North English.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Popham of North English; twin daughters, Heather (Abe) Stoner of Washington and Hollie Myers of Keota; daughter, Jennifer (Wes) Marks of South English; stepchildren, Beth (Andy McGuire) Carter, Brian Carter, Lloyd Carter and John Carter; 15 grandchildren; his mother, Opal Popham of North English; a sister, Linda (Carroll) Vikel of Iowa City; twin brother, Ronald (Helen) Popham of Riverside; and brother, Brent Popham of Kalona.
In lieu of flowers, a general memorial fund has been established.
