Piro, Grace Elaine
Grace Elaine Piro, 86, the beloved wife of the late Whitey Piro, died peacefully Saturday, March 3, 2012, at Mercy Hospice, surrounded by family. A Service of Remembrance and Celebration will be held at noon Thursday, March 8, at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Sam Massey officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service, Iowa City.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to First Presbyterian Church, 2701 Rochester Ave., Iowa City, IA 52245; Mercy Hospital Foundation, 500 E. Market, Iowa City, IA 52245; or to the Hancher Building Fund, c/o The University of Iowa Foundation, 1 West Park Rd., Iowa City, IA 52242.
