Piorkowski, Stanislaw B. 'Steny'
Stanislaw B. “Steny” Piorkowski, 101, of Elkader, died Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at Central Community Hospital in Elkader.
Survivors include his wife, Maria of Elkader; children, Richard (Joanne) Piorkowski of St. Olaf, Romuald Piorkowski (Joan Wangen) of Elkader, Anita Roberts of Racine, Wis., and Raymond (Joyce) Piorkowski of Elkader; four grandchildren, Artemus Roberts (Melissa), Ariel Roberts, Rodney Linderbaum and Kimberly (Jonathan) Shea; and two great-grandchildren, Ruby Shea and Ashton Roberts.
Mass of Christian Burial: 11 a.m. Saturday, March 10, St. Joseph's Catholic Church with the Rev. Paul R. Peters as celebrant.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the church.
