Phyllis Jean Fenchel, 89, of Manly, Iowa, formerly of Strawberry Point, died Tuesday, March 31, 2015.
Survivors include three children, Sue (Eldon) Fenton of Strawberry Point, Julie (Doug) Sorensen of Manly and Mark (Dar) Fenchel of Hull; a son-in-law, Dennis McNeal of Decorah; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, William and Marietta Wedemeyer; her husband, George; two sons, Kurt and Tim Fenchel; a daughter, Kathy; and a brother, Daryl Wedemeyer.
The family requests memorials be given to the Wilder Museum or the Strawberry Point Swimming Pool.

Memorial services: 3 p.m. Friday, April 3, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Strawberry Point, with a visitation from 1 to 3 p.m. Inurnment will be at a later date.
