Phillips, Glenn S.
Glenn S. Phillips, 65, of Clarence, died Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, at his home. A gathering of friends and relatives will be held Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home. Per Glenn's wishes his body has been cremated and there will be no services.
Survivors include his daughter, Diana Resewehr of Mechanicsville; his son, Troy of Tacoma, Wash.; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; his mother, Bernice of Clarence; two brothers, Steve of Las Cruces, N.M., and Kirby of Clarence; and his special friend, Linda Hines of Clarence.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Born Aug. 9, 1944, in Clarence, he was the son of Lloyd and Bernice (Roelf) Phillips. Glenn was retired after serving 26 years in the Air Force. He served in Vietnam. His main interests in life were collecting arrowheads and Roman coins and fishing. Glenn was the author of the published book, “Speaking Times,” and he enjoyed sharing his knowledge with others.
