Phillip L. Baird, 84, of St. Paul, MN passed into the arms of his Father in Heaven on August 15, 2024, in St. Paul, MN surrounded by dear friends. A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, August 22, at St. Mark's Episcopal Cathedral, 519 Oak Grove St., Minneapolis - visitation 9:30AM, Masonic service 10:30AM, Burial Mass Rite 11AM. Interment will be held in Cedar Rapids with a short graveside memorial at a later date.
Phillip was born August 2, 1940, to Elmer and Margarett Baird, who preceded him in death.
Phillip was a devoted teacher, professional musician and served in several churches and funeral homes.
He is survived by his sister Pam Essex, Mt, Vernon, IA, 3 nieces and 3 nephews and their families, many friends and his beloved companion boxer Charlotte.
