Phillip Lee Prevo, 91, passed away on June 24, 2024. He loved his family, hunting, fishing, and sports. He owned and operated an electronic repair shop for over 50 years in Cedar Rapids and Bloomfield. His kindness and gentle spirit will be missed.
Phil is survived by his wife, Jean. He was a proud dad to his four children, Steven, Timothy, Eric and Sarah. He was an amazing grandpa to Peter, Damien, Blake, Stuart, Jacquelyn, Timothy, Brandon, Arden, Andrew, Addison, and Alexander.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Luther Prevo and Irene Thayer; his brother, John; his son, Randy and his grandson, Nicholas Rainey.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans program helping disabled veterans (help.DAV.org) or the Arbor Day Foundation (https://shop.arborday.org/?form=reforestation-009 ).
