Pfeiffer, Cynthia Anne

Cynthia Anne Pfeiffer, 61, died Saturday, June 15, 2013, in Washington, Iowa. A memorial Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 29, at St. James Catholic Church in Washington. Visitation will be Friday, June 28, from noon to 7 p.m. at Beatty Funeral Home in Washington, with family present from 5 to 7 p.m. A prayer service will be 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Cindy was born Sept. 17, 1951, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Glenn and Mary Louise (Kiffe) Selzer. She grew up in Fairfax, Iowa. Cindy was united in marriage to Donald Pfeiffer in 1973 in Fairfax. They moved to Washington in 1981.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Don; sons, Steven (Karen) of Camarillo, Calif., and Nick (Hollie) of Tiffin; six grandchildren, Tyler, Mia, Ella, Arya, Sydney and Drew; father, Glenn (Marlene) Selzer of Cedar Rapids; brother, Steven (Marietta Hogan) Selzer of Iowa City; and sisters, Sharon Ham of Iowa City and Cathy (Ron) Secrist of Ames.

Cindy was preceded in death by her mother.
