Petersen, Gary L.
Funeral services for Gary L. Petersen, 64, of Rochester, who passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2010, will be held Sunday, April 25, at 1 p.m. at Rochester Methodist Church. A visitation will take place today from 3 to 5 p.m. at Fry Funeral Home in Tipton. Burial will be at Rochester Cemetery.
Gary was born Nov. 8, 1945, in Davenport, Iowa, to Vernon L. and Luella D. Reese Petersen. He was a 1964 graduate of Tipton High School. Gary retired from CDS, Tipton, where he was employed as a fork lift operator.
Gary is survived by his daughters, Justine Kellar of LaVista, Neb., and Jacqui (Michael) Patterson of Siloam Springs, Ark.; five grandchildren; sisters, Judy Niedorf of Bennett, Kim Long of Tipton and Janet Anderson of Rochester; and brother, Ron Petersen of Rochester.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon Petersen and Luella (Reese) Petersen.
