Peters, Margaret
Margaret Peters, 100, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, Jan. 13, 2012. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012 at Holland-Coble Funeral Home in Montezuma. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday, one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Jackson Township Cemetery at Montezuma. Memorial contributions may be made to the Montezuma United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her son, George and his wife, Vera Peters, of Cedar Rapids; and four grandchildren, Ramona Darrah of Palo, Stephanie Peters of Cedar Rapids, Joe Peters of Mount Vernon, and Rev. Ray Peters of Minden. Her memory also will be honored by 12 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Beryl Ammann; husband, Ralph Peters; infant son, Gerald Peters; a sister, Helen Johnston; and two brothers, Michael Ammann and infant Willard Ammann.
