Peter William Bieber Jr. died Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon at age 81.
Peter was born July 29, 1935, in Waukon, Iowa, son of Peter Sr. and Luella (Leppert) Bieber. He graduated from Waukon High School, Class of 1952.
He was united in marriage to Lillian Kvamme on Nov. 7, 1954, at First Lutheran Church, Decorah. This union was blessed with six children: Susan Schulte, Daniel Bieber, Thomas Bieber, Judith Brozovich, Charles Bieber and Mary Huinker.
Martin Funeral Home of Waukon assisted the family with arrangements.
A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, May 31, at the Fairgrounds Pavilion in Waukon. The ceremony will begin at 5 p.m. with Chris Leppert officiating, followed by a meal and music/reception. The committal service is at Oakland Cemetery in Waukon.
