Peska, Delbert Lee
Delbert Lee Peska, 70, of Marengo, died Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009, at the Marengo Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Marengo, with Father Joseph Roost officiating. Burial will be in Marengo Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Kloster Funeral Home in Marengo, where a rosary will be recited at 4:30 p.m. and Scripture service at 7:30 p.m.
A memorial fund has been established.
Delbert is survived by his wife, Cynthia; two sons, Mike and wife Robin and Mark and wife Dawn, all of Marengo; four grandchildren, April Peska Balk, Brandon Peska, Senior Airman Marcus Peska and Chad Peska (Brooke); and a great-grandson, Layne Peska. Also surviving are two brothers, Dale (Evelyn) of Marengo and Duane (Carol) of Ladora.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, David; and three grandchildren, Christopher, Jillian and Justine Peska.
