Perkins, John
John Perkins, 79, of Cresco, passed away Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, at his home surrounded by family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 24, at Notre Dame Catholic Church, with Father Dennis Cahill officiating. Burial will be in Deer Creek Lutheran Cemetery, Carpenter, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, with a parish Scripture service to follow, at Hindt-Hudek Funeral Home, 404 North Elm St., Cresco. The visitation will continue one hour before the service at the church.
