Peggy Sue James, 59, died Thursday, May 17, 2018. Memorial service: 2 p.m. Monday, May 21, 2018, Brandon Church of Christ. Officiating: Pastor Lenny Powers. Memorial visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. Monday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
Peggy Sue was born Sept. 19, 1958, in Cedar Rapids. She graduated from high school and received her teaching degree from Central College.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry; son, Jerry Lee; daughter, Meghan; grandchildren, Jacob, Leeanne, Skylar and Noah; her sisters, Debbie Gates, Donna (Dennis) Dalecky and Penny (Brian) Cook; her nieces and nephews, Jeremy (Amanda) and Kristina Gates, Justin (Laura), Brandon (Lacy), Cody (Dawn) and Tannor Cook and Abbie (Roy) Dalecky; her aunts, Sylvia Nemecek and Carolyn Cook; 10 great-nieces and
-nephews; her former daughter-in-law, Dora Moses; and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother; and her nephew, Mathew Gates.
