PEGGY HOHENSHELL MILLER
North English
Peggy Hohenshell Miller passed away peacefully on June 17, 2017, her 77th birthday, surrounded by her family.
Peggy was born June 17, 1940, in Richland, Iowa, the daughter of Claude R. and Viola Hobbs Thompson. She attended school in Richland, Keota and Sigourney. Peggy was united in marriage to Dave Hohenshell on Sept. 13, 1957, in Wellman. They lived most of their married life in What Cheer and North English and had six children. After Dave's death, Peggy later was united to Ron Miller and they had one child together. Peggy stayed home and raised her seven children and then later worked out of the home. Aside from her beloved family, her greatest joy was being around children and the elderly.
Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Dave, and her parents, brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Ron Miller; her children and their spouses, Patricia (Ed) Hubble, Dave (Julie) Hohenshell, Joe (Candy) Hohenshell, Sue (Donnie) Ross, Rob (Heather) Hohenshell, Mike (Jenn) Hohenshell and Chris (Bill) Kerkove; along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service was June 21, followed by a family luncheon.
Memorials may be sent to MidWestOne Bank, P.O. Box 179, Sigourney, IA 52591, in care of Jenn.
