Pearl Rosa Crispin, 95, of Tipton, died Monday, Aug. 11, 2014, in her apartment at Cedar Manor Nursing Home in Tipton. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton, with the Rev. David Lorenzen officiating. Burial will follow in Red Oak Cemetery, Tipton. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
A memorial had been established in her memory.

Pearl was born June 23, 1919, in Farmington Township, Cedar County, Iowa, the daughter of Carl Henry and Emma D. K. Schroeder Wieck. Pearl graduated from the Palestine Country School. On April 9, 1939, Pearl was united in marriage to Carl Alvin Crispin in Sugar Creek Presbyterian Church in Wilton. She was a homemaker, a member of the Red Oak Grove Presbyterian Church (now closed) and a current member of First United Church of Christ in Tipton.
Pearl is survived by her daughters, Nancy Hipple of Tipton, Beth (Randall) Shaull of Greencastle, Pa., and Jan (Maurice) Krob of Tipton; her son, Charles (Judy) Crispin of Davenport; 12 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Crispin on Jan. 4, 2003; son-in-law, Donald Hipple; parents, two brothers, five sisters and two grandchildren.
