Pearl Caroline Conant, 92, of Tipton, entered eternal rest on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016, at Cedar Manor Nursing Home. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 2, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 3, also at the funeral home. Burial and graveside services will be at Tipton Masonic Cemetery, with a luncheon at St. Mary's Hall immediately following the funeral service.
Memorials in Pearl's honor should be directed to Tipton Senior Dining.

Pearl's life journey began March 12, 1923, in New Hartford, Iowa, where she was born to Chauncey and Anna (Christopherson) Yost. She attended Aredale High School and graduated with the class of 1942. Pearl was united in marriage to the late H.L. Wilkinson and together they had two daughters, Judy and Beverly. In 1954, Pearl re-married in Princeton, Minn., to the late Glen Allen Conant. Together they had three daughters, Vicki, Debra and Dawn.
As a homemaker, mother and wife, Pearl truly cherished her family. She also was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed making prom dresses. Other interests of Pearl's were bowling and golfing, walking and dancing. She was a member of Gospel Hall Church in Marion.
Pearl is survived by her five daughters, Judy (Chuck) Lukemyres of Tipton, Beverly (Tom) Petitgout of Tipton, Vicki Breck of Cedar Rapids, Debra (Allan Charette) Conant of Tipton and Dawn Claney of Brashear, Texas; brother, Chauncey (Sandy) Yost of Middleton, Wis.; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Pearl was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands and sisters, Helen, Wava and Carol.
