Pauline passed away peacefully at home on July 8, 2017.
She was born Dec. 26, 1926, to Arvel and Mary (Dean) Doubenmier in rural Mount Vernon. She was a graduate of Mount Vernon High School, Class of 1944. She married Dale Wagaman on Aug. 15, 1945, and they had a daughter, Kathy.
Pauline worked for Plattenberger Insurance from 1956 to 1962, then was secretary at Lisbon Schools for 22 years, retiring in 1984.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Ray) Mobley of Florida; two grandsons, Jeff and Jamie Crow of Lisbon; and a great-granddaughter, Mattea Crow of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by husband, Dale; grandson, Jason Crow; her parents; and her grandparents.
Pauline was active in bowling and golf and loved to play cards. She was recently inducted into the Eastern Iowa Women's Golf Hall of Fame.
There will be no services.
A Celebration of Life will be from 5 to 8 p.m. July 29 at Gwen's Restaurant, Lisbon.
