Pauline A. Mulherin, 93, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, Aug. 13, 2015, at Village Ridge, Marion. Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev.
Ivan Nienhaus. Visitation will be after 9 a.m. at the church on Tuesday. Burial: St. Patrick Cemetery, Fairfax. Arrangements are with Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her children, Joe (Lori) Mulherin of Marion, Kathy (Gary) Hughes of Marion and Theresa (Tom)
Goetzman of Hiawatha; brother, Don (Noreen) Jones of San Diego, Calif.; sister, Dorothy Cormack of Marion; grandchildren, Jim (Irene) Herrick, Paul Goetzman, Matt Goetzman and Aaron Mulherin; great- granddaughter, Racheal Herrick; stepgrand-children, Erica (Bob) Wolterman and Mark Hughes; and stepgreat- grandchildren, Lilly and Edison Wolterman.
Pauline was born Feb. 7, 1922, in Donaldson, Minn., the daughter of Fred and Albia (Svec) Jones. She was a graduate of Barnum High School. On July 9, 1953, she married Raphael Mulherin. Pauline worked for Peoples Savings Bank and Souvenir Pen.
She enjoyed crafts, going to the casino, spending time with her family, and caring for her grandchildren. Pauline was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Albia Jones; her husband, Raphael; brother, Ralph Jones; and sister, Elizabeth Olsen.
