Chase's son Henry was the light of Pauline's life as her first great-grandchild.
Pauline also is survived by her brother, Ron Batterton, his wife, Evelyn, their daughter, Stacey, of Earlville, and son, Tom, and wife, Jo, and daughter, Ashley, of Petersburg, and daughter, Megan, of Guttenberg, their second son, Brad, and fiancee, Carrie, and their son, Blaze, all of Waubeek; her brother, Doran Batterton and his wife, Mary Nell, of Dyersville, and their son, Andrew, and wife, Dana, of Palentine, Ill., and their two children, Bryce and Avery. Pauline had many cousins scattered around the country of whom she thought very highly. She had many fond memories of growing up with family close by and attending school together. She was especially close to Rita and Carla Dettbarn.

liked by many and will be greatly missed. She also will be missed by very close friends and relatives, Tom and Celia McGowan of Norfolk, Conn., Bob and Cathie McGowan of Martelle and Jerry Hinman of Dubuque.
