Paulette J. Driscoll, 75, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Monday, March 12, 2018, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy. A celebration of Paulette's life will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 16, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Paulette was born Nov. 9, 1942, the daughter of Elmer and Phyllis (Groet) Patrick. She graduated from Washington High School. Paulette married her best friend and soulmate, William James Driscoll Jr., in San Antonio, Texas. She worked as an accountant at JCPenney, downtown Cedar Rapids, and later worked as a licensed agent at William Driscoll Insurance Agency.
Paulette was a devoted mother who delighted in raising her family. She was a talented seamstress and painter. Paulette enjoyed nature, wildlife and art. She was an amazing, strong, beautiful soul. Paulette touched many lives and will be deeply missed.
Paulette is survived by her children, Kelly Driscoll of Cedar Rapids and Randall (Cheryl) Driscoll of Arizona; six grandchildren, Nicole (Kyle) Rhodes, Jordan Cooper, Jordan Coate, Devin Driscoll, Zachary Havel and Liam Driscoll; three great-grandchildren; brother, Wayne (Diana) Patrick of Toddville; and many very special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Phyllis; and husband, William J. Driscoll Jr. in 2016.
