Paula J. Wilcox, 70, of Marion, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021. A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Marion, in accordance with her wishes the casket will remain closed at all times. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, at The First Baptist Church, 1260 29th Ave., in Marion, with burial to follow at Cedar Memorial Park in Cedar Rapids.
Paula was born on Nov. 22, 1950, the daughter of Paul and Garnett (Knapp) Wilcox. She graduated from Marion High School and went on to attend Kirkwood Community College. Paula had a love for children and was a good servant of the Lord. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Marion. Paula will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Paula is survived and lovingly remembered by her sisters, Sherry Jacobs of Independence, Linda (Harry) Odeen of Cedar Rapids and Kathy (Jim) Thomas of Marion; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Harold Jacobs.
