Paul Jonathan Wright joined his wife in Heaven on July 24, 2017.
Paul was born April 24, 1941, in Solon, Ohio, the son of Orin Milton Wright and Erma Gladys Peterson.
Paul was preceded in death by his wife of almost 28 years, Charlotte Ann (Rokke) Wright; his two sisters, Betty, who passed at birth, and Evelyn Rae (Wright) Godfrey; and a brother, Neal Wright.
Paul is survived by a niece, Mariam (Wright) Youschak of Cranesville, Pa.; and nephews, Mark Wright of Girard, Pa., and Blaine Godfrey of Cumberland Furnace, Tenn.
After serving four years in the U.S. Air Force, Paul moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to pursue a career at Rockwell Collins. For 34 years (1965-1999), Paul worked in marketing, marketing research, computer coding and as a tech writer. After he and his wife retired, they moved to Clarksville, Tenn., in 2000.
Paul was a man of God and was very active in his church, the Church of God of Prophecy in Clarksville. Paul loved to serve the Lord any way he could assisting the pastor and others in the church, and he truly enjoyed working in the sound/audio visual booth.
He will be sadly missed by family and all his friends.
There will be a memorial service at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 3, at Church of God of Prophecy, Clarksville. Graveside service will be Aug. 15 in Belmond, Iowa.
