Faribault, MN
Paul R. Pickering, originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and later a proud Minnesota resident, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2025, in his home, surrounded by love.
He is survived by his wife, Holly (McDonough) Pickering; daughter, Kaitlyn Herbert (Shane) and their children, Jackson, Charlotte, and Callahan; son, Jake Dickison (girlfriend, Maddie Carlander); Mitch Dickison (Katie) and their children, Elena and Wyatt; parents, Bob and Ann (Hiesler) Pickering; sister, Amy Hillesheim (Chris) and their children, Abby, Ryan, and Ben; grandmother, Geraldine Pickering; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Maddox Paul Herbert; and mother-in-law, Charlotte McDonough.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of St. Patrick, 7525 Dodd Road, Faribault, Minn., with Fr. Timothy Sandquist, officiating. Interment will be in the St. Patrick Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N., Faribault, and on Saturday from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the church.
