Paul Joseph "Joe" Reardon, 75, of Iowa City, died at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics of cancer on Thursday, July 1, 2021.
Joe was born Aug. 15, 1945, in Binghamton, N.Y. He served in the Army Armed Forces in the communications division during the Vietnam Era. Joe was employed at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Iowa City in the Research and Development Services as a medical photographer and computer specialist, where he retired in the early 2000s.
He was long associated with the fellowship of alcoholics anonymous (AA).
Joe is survived by his brother, Jim and Jim's children; daughter, Sunny and son, PJ of Vestal, N.Y.; as well as his longtime friends, Bev and Doug Mason and Mary Soucek.
We thank the staff of the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and Lantern Park Specialty Care Centers for their compassionate care of Joe.
