Paul E. Rhine passed into eternal life on April 20, 2024.
Paul was born in 1937 to Ruth and P.E. Rhine of Liberal, Kan.
Paul earned his Ph.D degree in physics from Kansas State University. He then taught as an Assistant Professor of Physics at Emporia Kansas State Teachers
College. He later worked for Union Pacific Railroad Company in Omaha, Neb., managing the Research and Standards Laboratory. After finishing his railroad career at the General Motors, EMD plant in Illinois, he retired in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Survivors include his wife, Diana, daughters: Judy Dubbeld along with two granddaughters: Ashton and Devany Dubbeld and daughter, Janice Rhine as well as brother Charles (Barbara.) He was a devoted and much-loved husband, father and grandfather.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, John Edwin Rhine.
