Paul Leonard Durbala, 65, of Cedar Rapids, died at Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, after a long illness. Private services will be held. Burial: Union Cemetery, Newton. Teahen Funeral Home is serving the family.
Paul is survived by a brother, Carl (Jackie) Durbala of Cedar Rapids; a sister, Rosemary Cobbs of Newton; and several nieces and nephews.
A brother, Dennis, preceded him in death.
Paul was born April 18, 1948, the son of Carl and Bernice Miller Durbala in Newton and graduated from Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids. He retired after 24 years from the Cedar Rapids Street Department. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
