Patty devoted her life to her family, faith, and community. She worked as an Administrative Assistant with the Jones County USDA Farm Service Agency for twenty years, retiring in 2001. Alongside her professional career, she was deeply involved in supporting her husband, Howard, on the family farm.

Her commitment to service extended beyond the church, as she was a member of IASCOE and NASCOE, the American Legion Auxiliary, and gave her time as a Hospice Volunteer.
Patty’s greatest joy was her family. She treasured time spent with her loved ones and could always be found attending family gatherings and activities. In her leisure time, Patty was an enthusiastic Iowa Hawkeye fan, rarely missing an opportunity to watch and support her favorite team.
