Patsy Sue Leto, 63, of De Soto, formerly of Cedar Rapids, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2014. A Celebration of Life service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 19, at Merle Hay Funeral Home, Des Moines, with visitation one hour before the service, beginning at 10 a.m.
She will be remembered as loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Pat enjoyed reading, fishing, gardening and listening to country music. She was an animal lover, especially dogs and enjoyed riding horses in her younger years.
Pat was born in Des Moines and resided in Cedar Rapids for many years before returning to the Des Moines area. While in Cedar Rapids, Pat was employed with Econofoods for 12 years and Jefferson Davis Associates for five years. After returning to Des Moines, she was employed at Sam's Club for five years, before retiring due to medical reasons.
Patsy will be remembered by her husband of 28 years, Perry of De Soto; daughter, Kim (Lauren) Warburton of Cedar Rapids; son, Terry Warburton of Indianola; granddaughter, Ashley Warburton of Cedar Rapids; two brothers, Jerry (Marjorie) Crispin of Des Moines and Tom (Bonnie) Crispin of Waukee; and by a cousin, Pam Dice of Ankeny.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald Sr. and Betty Crispin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to John Stoddard Cancer Center at UnityPoint Health Foundation, 1415 Woodland Ave., Suite E-200, Des Moines, IA, 50309; for ovarian cancer research.
