Patsy was born Dec. 22, 1928, in Kansas City, Mo., to Jimmie and Bessie (Boan) McGinnis. She attended Central High School in St. Joseph, Mo., and graduated with the class of 1946. Patsy was united in marriage to the late Leo Carney in 1948, also in Missouri, where they would reside until they moved to Tipton in 1956. Together they had four children, Carrie, Mike, Denny and Patrick.
Patsy enjoyed being a housewife and mother during her children's youthful days. In 1986, she became the owner of The Frame Station until her retirement in 1992. Fishing and camping with her late husband, trips to Minnesota and spending time with her grandkids all were special times Patsy cherished.
Patsy is survived by her daughter, Carrie (Dan) Petersen; sons, Mike (Liz) Carney, Denny (Marilyn) Carney and Patrick (Kaylene) Carney; five grandchildren, Jenny, Nicki, Bryan, Bob and Shane; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Noonie; and husband.
