Patrick Welby Logan, 80,
of Cedar Rapids, died on Thursday, Dec. 24, 2020, at
his home. Funeral Mass:
10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30,
at St. John XXIII Catholic Church, by the Rev. Richmond Dzekoe. Visitation will be for one hour before the service at church. Burial: St. Joseph Cemetery, Iowa City. Arrangements are with Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids. All attendees are required to wear face masks and respect social distancing.

Pat was born on March 14, 1940, in St. Paul, Minn., the son of Welby and Mary (Peltier) Logan. On May 30, 1963, Pat married Bette Tillson in Monterey, Calif. He worked as an architectural hardware consultant with Doors, Inc. for many years.
Pat enjoyed fishing, traveling and spending time with his family. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. Pat encouraged his family to be strong, resilient and have courage in life. He instilled the importance of these qualities throughout his life.
He was a member of St. John XXIII Catholic Church and the Door & Hardware Institute.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Bette; children, Brian Logan, Michelle (Bob) DeMeulenaere and David (Amber) Logan; grandchildren, Meta Marie Allen, Jeremiah (Paige) Logan, Shelby (Ricky) DeMeulenaere, Tucker Logan, Brody Logan, Delaney Logan, La James Hopkins and Emily DeMeulenaere; great-grandchildren, Idris, James, Jaxson and Eleanor; a brother, Tom Logan; special friends, Sara Logan and Kathy Love; and his faithful canine companion, Freckles.
Pat was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Andy Logan; and great-granddaughter, Elsi James.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Zach Johnson Foundation.
