Patrick Thomas Stallman, 65, of Norway, died at his home on Thursday, March 2, 2017. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John XXIII Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Dustin Vu. Friends may visit with the family at the church Monday from 3 to 7 p.m. and Tuesday after 10 a.m. Teahen Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids is serving the family.
Pat is survived by his wife, Linda; two daughters, Michelle Wedemeier and Tracey (Travis) Krousie, both of Walford; five grandchildren, Jacob, Jaycee, Cole, Kaden and Cameron; three brothers, Michael Stallman and Jeff (Pam) Stallman, both of Walford, and Jim (Sheryl) Stallman of Fairfax; three sisters, Mary Rita (Andy) Meyers of Fairfax, Sandy (Gary) Cain of Walford and Peggy (Nick) Sleichter of Fairfax Station, Va.; two brothers-in-law, Russ (Delores) Harrison of Cottage Grove, Wis., and Don (Cathy) Harrison of Rhinelander, Wis.; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mick and Elaine Stallman; in-laws, Don and Lucille Harrison; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Stallman.
Pat was born Aug. 9, 1951, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Carl and Mary Elaine Weland Stallman, and married Linda Harrison on April 8, 1972, at Holy Trinity Catholic church in Walford. In 2013, Pat retired after 43 years as production supervisor at Cargill West. He was a 1969 graduate of LaSalle High School, received an Associate of Arts degree from Kirkwood Community College and served in the Iowa National Guard for six years.
Pat lived to be in the great outdoors and would take every opportunity to go hunting or fishing. He loved spending many hours down at the family pond. His greatest joy was his family, especially his five grandkids.
