Oct. 13, 1958 Aug. 18, 2017
Patrick J. Mullin, 58, of
Pateros, Wash., beloved
husband and best friend of
Melody Ervin Mullin, father, grandfather, brother and
uncle, passed away peacefully surrounded by the ones he laughed with, lived for and loved on Aug. 18, 2017. He won, he beat cancer and is no longer in pain.
Patrick was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In 1977, Patrick hitchhiked to Washington to work for the agriculture industry, working and living in the Bridgeport, Wash., area for several years. He also worked for Mill Bay Casino as a table games dealer, was a stay-at- home daddy for his youngest two children, and lastly, he worked for Antoine Creek Farms.
Patrick was a kind, humble man who was well liked and known by so many for his sense of humor.
He will be missed.
Survivors of the home are his wife, Melody Ervin Mullin; children, Madison Ervin, Macy and Miley Mullin and Nathan Mullin, all of Wenatchee, Andrew Mullin of Omak, Wash., and Dena Mullin Regan of Wenatchee; grandchildren, Grace, Marli, Taegan, Hawken and Cisco; sisters, LuAnn Sillick and Macel (Keven) Ralston; nephew, Mathew Watson; and nieces,
Corrine Sillick and Abby Ralston.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Riley J. Mullin and Mary Chavez Mullin; grandparents; aunts; uncles; cousins; and brother-in-law, Allen Sillick.
The family would like to thank members of Frontier Home Health & Hospice. Their dedication and effort, along with his wife (who never left his side), to provide the utmost dignity and quality care during his battle with cancer, was a heartwarming blessing to the entire family. They are thankful for his gift of life and the time they spent with him.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, Sept. 10, from 5 to 10 p.m. at Guthridge Park, Hiawatha.
