Patricia Ann Wegmann, 79, of Delhi, formerly of Strawberry Point, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2016, surrounded by her family at the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester.
She was born Aug. 11, 1936, in New Vienna, the daughter of Leonard and Catherine (Lansing) Bockenstedt. Pat was raised in the Colesburg area and was a graduate of Colesburg High School.
On Jan. 19, 1957, Pat was united in marriage to Ambrose "Butch" Wegmann. Five children were born to this union. Pat and Butch farmed together for many years on their farm near Strawberry Point.
Pat was a member of St. John's Catholic Church. She was famous for her delicious homemade doughnuts and monster cookies. Pat enjoyed fishing with her husband.
She will be remembered for her gentleness, the love for her family, and her competitiveness to win a game of euchre.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Ambrose "Butch" Wegmann, of Delhi; two sons, Steve Wegmann, and his three children, Jamie (Jennifer), Joey (Rachel) and Jessica; and Michael Wegmann, and his partner, Craig Gatarz, and their daughters, Ava and Sophia; two daughters, Ann Wegmann and Susie (Kyle) Decker, and their daughter, Ashley (Brad) Temple; three great-grandchildren, Claire, Taylor and Quinn; daughter-in-law, Kathy Berlin Wegmann; three brothers, Fred (Barbara) Bockenstedt, Dennis (Judy) Bockenstedt and Dean (Rosalee) Bockenstedt; five sisters, Marian (Allan) Koelker, Blanche (Bert) Schulte, Leona (Marv) Tauke, Jean (Ken) Kramer and Phyllis (Jim) Tigges; and a sister-in-law, Lois Bockenstedt.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Chris Wegmann; one brother, Leo Bockenstedt; and an infant sister, Teresa Bockenstedt.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.

Visitation: 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday, May 15, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home, Manchester, where there will be a 2 p.m. Scripture service.
Mass of Resurrection: 11 a.m. Monday, May 16, at St. John's Catholic Church, Delhi, with the Rev. John Kremer officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date.
