PATRICIA FAYE VERCANDE

Patricia Faye Vercande left her earthly body on the afternoon of Nov. 17, 2015.
She was born on the 14th of April 1932 to Mick and Reathel Dansdill. She grew up in Millersburg, Iowa, where she enjoyed playing basketball as a student at Millersburg schools.
She was blessed with eight children: Robert E. Perrin (passed as an infant), Jeanne White of Springville, Ronald Perrin (passed in 2009), Roberta Sue Frana (Daryl) of Decorah, Jon Vercande (Rhonda) of Cedar Rapids, Jeff Vercande (Amy) of Snellville, Ga., Linda Baetsle (Kerry) of Ladora and Michael Vercande of Des Moines.
Patricia made her home in many places from Iowa to California. She was a hard-working woman who spent many years working for Amana Refrigeration.
Patricia enjoyed cooking for her family and canning her own produce. She loved her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and she will continue to live on through each of them.
Patricia enjoyed spending most of her time making memories with her many grandchildren. Patricia loved and lost many people throughout her life and is blessed to be reunited with them again.
A memorial service will be Monday, Nov. 23, starting at 4 p.m., with a reception to follow until 7 p.m. at St. Ludmila Catholic Church, 211 21st Ave. SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404.
