Heaven gained a baking angel: Patricia "Pat" Ann Roushar passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016, in Daytona, Fla.
Pat was born in Austin, Minn., on Jan. 3, 1938, the daughter of Lenore and Clifford Kasak. On Aug. 29, 1959, she married Ron Roushar of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Pat was an avid caretaker, cook, baker, painter, crafter and gardener; filling their home with love. She also was a friend to all who met her.
Pat is survived by her husband, Ron (Port Orange, Fla.); daughter and son-in-law, Jen and Tom Schreier (Olathe, Kan.); daughter and son-in-law, Jackie and Richard Bear (Vinton); son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Ann Roushar (Cedar Rapids); sister, Charlotte Longellow (Marengo); brother, Jim Kasak (Cedar Rapids); grandchildren, Abby (Charley) Cronk, Alyssa Hilton and Jackson Roushar; three great-grandchildren, Zoey and Daphne Cronk and Mason Knutson; and several nieces and nephews.
Her death was preceded by brother, David Kasak; mother, Lenore Miller; stepfather, Ed Miller; father, Clifford Kasak; mother-in-law, Wilma Roushar; her grandparents and others who welcomed her into the Lord's arms.
A memorial service will be planned in the coming months in Iowa pending arrangements.
