Patricia (Patti) Lumley Windsor, formerly of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Feb 9, 2024 in Manchester, England.
Patti was born Aug 29, 1956, the beloved daughter of Marion Lumley. She graduated from Jefferson High school in 1975 and soon after joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She attended Brigham Young University where she got her degree in Early Childhood Development. She loved children and put her degree to use as a Lead Teacher in preschools and as a nanny in Minneapolis MN.
In 2005 she met the love of her life, Ian Frederick Windsor and they married on Aug 18, 2007 after which she and her cats joined Ian for their new life together in Manchester England. Over the years they had many adventures exploring England and countries in Europe. She fell in love with Cornwall and Crete as well as tracing distant relatives in Germany and the Czech Republic.
Patti is survived by her husband, her brother Greg (Teri), nephew Jason (Cheyenne), niece Amy (Zach), aunt Dorothy, cousins, grand nieces and nephews.
