Patricia 'Patsy' Burroughs (Lammers)
PATRICIA "PATSY" BURROUGHS (LAMMERS) Veneta, Ore. Patricia "Patsy" Burroughs (Lammers), passed away on March 5, 2021, in Veneta, Ore., at the age of 76, from complications of heart surgery. Patsy was born in Dyersville, Iowa, to Herb and Armella Lammers. She is survived by her three brothers and two sisters: Tom (Pat) Lammers, Ann (Don) Rajtora, Becky (Gene) Traeger, Dan (Katie) Lammers and Steve Lammers. She was closest to her sister, Becky. Patsy and Becky shared many of lifes big events together. Pasty was fortunate enough to go to Brooke's and Christophers weddings and celebrate their's and Nikky's graduations. She made numerous trips back to Iowa to see her neice and nephews and spend time with best friend, Becky. Patsy was the caretaker for her little brother, Steve. Steve will miss her terribly. Patsy was known for her love of life and living it to the fullest. Her children and grandchildren tell numerous stories of her water skiing, with the rope in her mouth, flying in her plane with her piloting, learning to ride horses with her, jet skis and so much more. She rarely missed a birthday party, or any party really. Holidays were her favorite time to spend with family and have everyone together in one place. In her last few years, she became an avid slots player. Her favorite casino was Three Rivers casino in Florence. She and her best friend in life, Jon Baker, would spend many hours, days or weekends at the casino winning loads of money. At least that is all anyone ever heard of were the winnings. She loved being in the ocean air on the coast as she played at the casino. Patsy loved her family and leaves behind her children, Luke and Matt Burroughs and Tina Ray; her stepson, David (Angie) Burroughs; stepdaughter, Gina Larson; and her grandchildren, Kelly (Colman) Ewards, Katie and Gigi Burroughs, Justine (Chris) Cirullo, Travis (Carrie) Ray, Kenny (Emily) Gebhardt, Tyler (Jamie) Burroughs, Kaleb (Kaila Graham) Burroughs and Scott and Ashley Larson. She also leaves so many great-grandchildren who also loved grandma Patsy snuggles as well as grand puppies who will forever miss their Thanksgiving and Christmas treats snuck to them under the table. Patsy led a good life and will be severely missed by all of us who are left behind. Until we meet again. Services for Patsy will be held in Iowa at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Musgrove Family Mortuary. Please access the obituary and you are invited to sign the guestbook at musgroves.com.
