Patricia A. "Pat" Sealy, 81, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, Dec. 14, 2020, at St. Luke's Hospital. Per Pat's request, there will be no service.
Survivors include a daughter, Ann Sealy; two sons, Mike (Deb) and David (Sherry), all of Cedar Rapids; and a sister, Linda Peiper of Florida. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Michael (Maria) Sealy of Cedar Rapids, Lauren (Michael) Doty of Chicago, Nathan Sealy of Iowa City, Sheridan Sealy of San Diego, Calif., and Kiersten Sealy of Cedar Rapids; and two great-grandchildren due in April of 2021.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Rob; and a brother, Donald.
Pat was born Dec. 24, 1938, in Cedar Rapids. She grew up on a farm south of Lisbon and graduated from Lisbon High School as class valedictorian. She later graduated from Coe College.
Pat married James M. Sealy on Nov. 25, 1959, in Mechanicsville. Jim passed away in October of this year. Pat was a member of P.E.O. and an avid Chicago Cubs fan. She enjoyed gardening, travel, fashion, playing bridge and visiting with her many friends.
Pat was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend whose memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
