Patricia “Pat” Manley, 77, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Living Center West Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 9-10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids. Funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. by Reverend Douglas Loecke.
Pat was born March 4, 1948, in Washington, Iowa, daughter to Walter and Aledia (Haller) Jackson. Pat was a long-time employee at the Cedar Rapids Gazette until the early 2000’s. She found the love of her life, Richard “Dick” Manley. They were married until his passing in 2008.
Pat enjoyed gardening, genealogy, shopping, thrifting, and collecting Irish memorabilia. She loved the Iowa Hawkeyes and her family, especially her great-grandchildren, who lovingly referred to her as gigima.
Pat is survived by her children, Bill (Beth) Reynolds and Joe (Irene) Reynolds; grandchildren, Carl (Kourtni) Reynolds, Troy (Sadie) Reynolds, Haley (Kyle) Lockhart, Joe O’Taggart, Brandon Reynolds, JP O’Taggart, and Kaley (Jordan Klingson) O’Taggart; and great-grandchildren, Aubri Reynolds, Eli Reynolds, Reece Lockhart, Owen O’Taggart, and Jensen Lockhart.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Richard “Dick” Manley.
