Patricia "Pat" Louise Fatka, 80, of West Branch, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Oct. 3, 2018, at her home.
The family will greet friends from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018, at Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service, 605 Kirkwood Ave., Iowa City. Burial of the urn will follow at Czech National Cemetery in Cedar Rapids. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to a local animal charity of your choice.
Pat worked at Eagles Food Store as a cashier and Collins Plaza Hotel as a waitress in Cedar Rapids for many years.
Pat is survived by her children, Robin Bertelli of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Suzanne (Curt) Kieffer of West Branch, Iowa, and Dan Fatka of Des Moines, Iowa; sisters, June (Roy) Bergeron of Gonzalez, La., and Ann (Kenny) Burr of Ruthven, Iowa; grandchildren, Tara (James) Scranton of Tiffin, Iowa, Courtney Ressler of Shueyville, Iowa, and David Kieffer of Iowa City, Iowa; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Duane; grandson, Kevin Kieffer; and son-in-law, Mic Bertelli.
Pat's family would like to give a special thanks to the Iowa City Hospice staff and Carrie Harper at Cedar County Home Healthcare for the care they provided to our family.
