Patricia L. Kilts, 85, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Dec. 24, 2020, at Westridge Care Center.
Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Patricia Lou Dougherty was born June 26, 1935, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter
of Charles and Dorothy (Gates) Dougherty.
She graduated from Roosevelt High School, Class of 1953. Patricia was united in marriage to Gerald C. Kilts on June 19, 1953.
She liked to do puzzles, sewing, gardening, cooking and baking and, especially taking care of her family.
Survivors include her son, Scott (Terri) Kilts; daughter, Donna (Matthew) Vesey; five grandchildren, Duane (Heather) Kilts; David (Alyson) Kilts, Joe Vesey, Melanie Vesey and Maggie Vesey; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Bill (Betty) Dougherty.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gerald; a brother, Dick Dougherty and his wife, Delores.
The family of Patricia would like to extend their thanks to Rockridge Care facility in Shellsburg, Westridge Care facility and UnityPoint Hospice for their loving care of Patricia.
