Patricia Rae Divis, 80, of Cedar Rapids, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26, in the Chapel of Memories State Room at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, at First Baptist Church in Marion. Burial will be at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorials, if desired, may be directed to First Baptist Church, 1260 29th St., Marion, IA 52302.
Pat was born June 30, 1936, in Cedar Rapids to Forest and Dorothy Maher Hunter. She grew up in Cedar Rapids and attended Marion High School.
On June 16, 1956, she was united in marriage to Elmer Divis in Cedar Rapids. To this union four children were born.
Pat worked for Marion Independent School District food service for several years before retiring in 1997.
She enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers and playing cards. She was an active member of First Baptist Church in Marion.
Pat will be missed by her children, Cindy Andrews of Shellsburg; Shelly (Rob) Kolosik of Marion and Eric Divis of Marion; four grandchildren, Lisa (Kyle) Godfrey, Tina (Jason) Wehrman, Erin (Brice) Hill and Brandon Divis; two great-grandchildren, Wesley and Cooper Wehrman; two half sisters, Linda Maher and Lori (Tim) Duffy; and one half brother, Tim (Elaine) Maher.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elmer, of 52 years; two sisters, Jan and Nancy; and a son, John.
