Patricia Lynn Clatt, 56, of Nevada, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames.
Patricia was born Jan. 10, 1958, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Richard and Margaret (Convey) Curley. She graduated from Regis High School in 1976 and was united in marriage to Michael Clatt on April 19, 1980, in Colorado. Patricia worked for the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown from 1982 until 2012. She enjoyed quilting and loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Mike of Nevada; her son, Richard (Amanda) Clatt of Nevada; her daughters, Christine (Steve) Scott of Warrens-burg, Mo., and Melissa Clatt (Jason Link) of Cape Coral, Fla.; her grandchildren, Krysta, Carrik and Collin Scott and Ethan Clatt; her brother, Stephen Curley of California; and her sister, Karen (Kirk) Richardson of Cedar Falls.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Michael Curley.
Visitation will be from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23, with a funeral service at 4 p.m., at Bacon Funeral Home, 1418 Fawcett Pkwy, in Nevada. Following services, Patricia will be cremated and inurnment will take place at a later date in the Nevada Municipal Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to establish college funds for Patricia's grand-children.
